Our resources to help us pray and read Scripture together are called refresh.
We have printed copies available at church, you can access them via My ChurchSuite, you can download the Bible Reading Plan below – or you can even add an auto-updating feed to your favourite calendar app… there’s no excuse not to make the most of these resources!
Prayer Calendar
It’s important to pray for one another when one of us is in need – but it’s also good to pray for each other anyway!
Our prayer calendar helps us pray for everyone in our church family, every month. You can access it through My ChurchSuite (under the Links section of the main menu), or request a printed copy from the Church Office.
The list of names is generated from ChurchSuite. If you don’t want your name included, you can remove yourself via My ChurchSuite, and if you aren’t on there, you need to register your details with us!

Bible Reading Plan
Sometimes it’s hard to know what to read. Always it’s good to ensure we don’t only read the parts of the Bible we know and love. Our reading plan helps with this. There are five ‘streams’
Stream 1 cycles through the psalms four times. They help us express prayer and praise, lament and longing, joy and agony.
Streams 2 and 3 go through the rest of the Old Testament. Stream 2 takes you from Genesis to 2 Chronicles. Stream 3 completes the History with Ezra and Nehemiah, then works through the Wisdom and Prophetic books.
Stream 4 has a short passage from one of the gospels every day.
Stream 5 takes you through the rest of the New Testament, from Acts to Revelation.

How do I use it?
The biggest commitment is to read all five streams, every day for a year. It will take you about 20-25 minutes a day, and if you get behind it’s hard to catch up – but by the end of the year you will have read the whole Bible!
If you are new to reading the Bible in this way, we suggest you start with Stream 4 (the gospels) and Stream 1 (the psalms). This will only take a few minutes, but will help you form the habit of reading the Bible and praying every day.
What if I don’t understand something I read?
Some parts of the Bible – especially those bits that are less familiar – are hard to understand. If you read something and want to speak to someone about it, please get in touch! We’d love to help you grow in your knowledge of love of the Scriptures, which are at the heart of our faith.
But I don’t have a Bible!
If you access the plan through My ChurchSuite, each passage links through to an online Bible that you can read. If you prefer to read a paper book, please speak to someone after one of our services – we have Bibles for sale, and to give away for those who can’t afford one.
