Financial Giving
Without our members being generous with their time, talents and treasure, Christ Church would not operate.
This page is about financial giving, but if you’d like to give or serve in other ways, please get in touch.

Other ways to give financially
Giving financially is one way to respond to God’s generosity to us in Jesus.
For regular giving, our preferred method is standing order, already used by many of our congregation. It’s convenient, incurs no charges and assures us of a regular income.
Transferring funds by internet banking is also favourable because it incurs no charges.
Further details of these and many others ways of donating are available on this page.
Why give?
Christ Church is funded almost entirely by voluntary donations, especially regular personal donations made by members of the congregation and supplemented by Gift Aid. The majority of our members donate by standing order.
A large proportion of our expenditure is on people who help to deliver our services and activities in the parish (staff salaries and expenses).
We also make a substantial contribution to Church of England Birmingham which collectively funds clergy salaries and supports ministry in every community across the City.
A proportion of our income (roughly 10% of donations to the General Fund) is given in support of individuals and partner organisations around the world.

However you choose to support us, thank you!
