Pastoral care involves all of us; the ‘one another’ verses in the Bible help us see what it means.

In Psalm 51 David repented of his sin – the way he does that can help us do the same today.

We have a mission: making, growing, sending disciples of Jesus.

I am sad to announce that Joanne Rose has decided to step down from her role as our pastoral care co-ordinator.

It’s only the context of eternity that the chaos and suffering we experience are bearable.

At our annual meetings this year, Revd Ben Green shared some encouragements about who we are at Christ Church and issued three invitations.

I am delighted to announce that Sam Haynes has been appointed as our Evangelism & Discipleship Assistant, to start in August.

Sending disciples is not about us sending people to other countries – but each other into all the places we go during the week.

Growing disciples means serving God our Father – and as we serve him, serving one another as well.

Making disciples means sharing Jesus in word and dead, with confidence and grace.

Disciples are apprentices of Jesus: worshipping him, serving him, bearing witness to him.

God wants to transform us from the inside out – he does the inside bit, we join in with the outside bit.
